Okay, so Halo 3 has come out with new achievements. goody.
I finally had a reason to play again, AND I got to brush up on my shakespear.
for those of you who don't get the reference of the achievement, "alas, poor yorik" (in which you have to beat down three people with a skull in oddball on a legendary map), is a throw back to shakespear's famous play 'Hamlet'. in which hamlet is preforming the ulogy of the court jester, yorik, while holding the poor boy's skull.

so, when earning the achievement, running around like a psychopath on blackout, I recited the quote that the achievement came from.

"alas, poor yorik! *smash* I knew him, horatio *smash*. A fellow of infinite jest *smash*. "

most people thought I was off my rockere, but a few people knew what the hell I was talking about and actually stood aside to let me kill everyone else, just so I could finish my recitation...

there is absolutely nothing to do in this rat-hole town.
I would play Halo 3, but I can't find anyone in lone wolves who'll just fight without trying to be an achievement whore... yesterday, I had to watch a bunch of random losers wait in line to board a ghost, get hijacked and jump right back on to get the "Maybe next time, buddy." achievement.
and I am getting so sick of losers bragging about their "Hayabusa" armor. yeah, great, you got all of the skulls in the game. good for you, so has everyone else, because some assclown went in and looked at the game's code to find the skulls.
the county fair is in town, but it has no good rides, and the funnel cake is always stale.
there aren't any good movies out, and I'm just generally in a pissed off mood... I can't wait for winter break... -.-
